Blood Orange, Beet, & Cardamom Sipping Sour
Directions
- In a pot over medium-high heat combine water, beets, blood orange juice and peels, ginger, vinegar, honey, cinnamon stick, cardamom, allspice, black pepper, and cloves.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and cool completely. Sour can be strained at this point or held with fruit and strained for service.
- Hold refrigerated until needed.

- 1 qt water, distilled
- 2 cups beet(s), red, peeled, grated
- 2 ea orange(s), blood, juice and peel
- 1/4 cup ginger, grated fresh
- 1/4 cup vinegar, apple cider
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 ea McCormick Culinary® Cinnamon, Sticks, crushed
- 1 tsp McCormick Culinary® Cardamom, ground
- 1 tsp McCormick Culinary® Ground Allspice
- 1 tsp McCormick Culinary® cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp McCormick Culinary® Cloves, Ground
- 1/2 tsp Himalayan pink sea salt
