Cola BBQ Spare Ribs
Directions
- Set smoker to 250 degrees F (or between 225 and 250 if not using an electric smoker) with humidity.
- Generously season the ribs with 2 tbsp of the rub and place the ribs directly on the grill. Cook for 3 hours.
- Remove the meat from the grill and wrap tightly in butcher paper. Place back on the grill and cook for another 2 hours.
- Carefully unwrap the meat and place back on the grill grate.
- Spray the ribs with the soda and smoke for 15 minutes.
- Glaze the ribs with the HEINZ BBQ Sauce and smoke for another 15 minutes.
- Repeat steps 4 & 5 once more.
- Carefully transfer the ribs to fresh butcher paper, wrapping it tightly. Allow it to rest until cool enough to serve.

- 1 can Cherry cola
- HEINZ® BBQ Sauce, to taste
Rub Spice Mix
Directions
- Mix all dry rub ingredients together and set aside

- 1/4 c. Kosher salt
- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 c. chili powder
- 1/4 c. cumin
- 1 Tbsp. Black Pepper
- 1/4 c. garlic, granulated
- 1 Tbsp. cayenne pepper
