Luck of the Irish Poutine
Directions
- Heat oil to 350° in deep fryer.
- In fry basket add fries cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown then drain on rack with towel lined pan to remove excess grease.
- In fry basket add cheese curds then cook for 1-2 minutes remove and drain on rack with towel line pan to remove excess grease.
- After warming the West Creek® beer cheese according to manufacturer’s directions. Simmer the stout beer in a saucepan over medium heat for 1-2 minutes to burn off the alcohol. Whisk the stout into the warm beer cheese for service.
- Place the fries on a plate or in a bowl. Drizzle them with the stout beer cheese. Follow this by placing the fried cheese bites on top.
- Sprinkle with bacon, green onion, and thyme sprigs as a garnish. Serve to smiling eyes.
Ingredients
- 15 oz West Creek® French Fries
- 10 ea Entice® cheddar cheese nuggets
- 1/4 lb Ridgecrest® Bacon, Applewood Slice(s), cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup Peak Fresh Produce® Onion(s), Green, finely chopped
- 1 cup West Creek Beer Cheese
- 1/2 cup stout
- 1 tbsp Peak Fresh Produce® Thyme, Fresh, chopped
- 3 sprigs ea Peak Fresh Produce® Thyme, Fresh, for garnish
- Brilliance® oil, for deep frying
